Scantron Roster Upload Request

 Your University Contact Information 
IT maintains Scantron services that are open to all UM faculty. In order to use the Scantron machine you must have your class roster uploaded by the IT Lab Manager. By submitting this form the manager will have the information needed to extract your roster from BANNER and load it into the Scantron software. When this uploading process is complete you will receive an email confirming that the upload is done and ready to use. You will also be given your username and password to sign into the Scantron software(ParScore).

Once your roster is loaded and ready to use you can use it until the class is over for the semester or session. You will need to submit a new roster upload request every time a new class starts that you want to use Scantron for grading tests.

Please do not use Scantron as your gradebook. Scantron was not designed for that purpose and IT can not be held responsable for lost grading information. We perform nightly backups of the ParScore software but it is the instructors responsibility to keep track of their data. Though we do our best to keep the Scantron computer updated and working well this is a public machine and subject to unforseen events caused by other users.

When you are ready to schedule time to use the Scantron machine you will need contact the Lab Monitors in LA 241 by calling extension 2736.

***This form is only for requesting a roster upload to Scantron. Once completed you will need to wait for a confirmation email telling you that your roster upload is complete and ready for use.***

We will need this in order to contact you with a confirmation of your Scantron roster upload as well as your username and password to use the Scantron software. We can only take your official university email. Other emails may have junk mail filters that will delete our responses to you.
